Documents for a Working Holiday Visa have to be provided in original and one set of copies in English or German. A Working Holiday Visa can be issued only once and the main purpose of the stay is holiday and travel in Germany.

o application form fully completed, duly signed

o passport (issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least 3 months after leaving the Schengen area with at least two empty pages)

o passport size picture, not older than three months with a bright background and frontal view of the face (please do not attach the picture to the application form). Digitally-altered passport pictures will not be accepted.

o proof of sufficient financial means (at least 2.000 EUR on your personal account)

o proof of travel health insurance (with headquarters in the EU), valid for the entire stay in Germany with a minimum coverage of 30.000,00 EUR including the following details: name of the insured person, length of coverage, insurance sum and repatriation coverage. Please note that health insurance coverage by credit card is not valid)

o detailed CV

o detailed motivation letter, including information about the intended stay

o booked flight tickets

o proof of accommodation for at least the first 3 months (rental contract, hotel reservation, or invitation letter in case of private accommodation with name, full address and passport/resident card copy of the inviting person)

o certificate of good conduct, not older than 3 months

o visa fee : 75,00 EUR payable in cash in Lei – or by card (Visa + Master)

Please note that the German Consulate reserves the right to ask for additional documents at any time during processing.
