Working Holiday Visa
for young adults between 18 and 30 years
Documents for a Working Holiday Visa have to be provided in original and one set of copies in English or German. A Working Holiday Visa can be issued only once and the main purpose of the stay is holiday and travel in Germany.
- application form fully completed, duly signed
- passport issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least 3 more months after leaving the Schengen area and with at least two empty pages
- passport size picture, not older than three months with a bright background and frontal view of the face. Please do not attach the picture to the application form Digitally-altered passport pictures will not be accepted
- proof of sufficient financial means (at least 2.000 EUR on your personal account)
- proof of travel health insurance with an insurance company headquartered in the EU, valid for the entire stay in Germany and with a minimum coverage of 30.000,00 EUR including the following details: name of the insured person, length of coverage, insurance sum and repatriation coverage. Please note that health insurance coverage by credit card is not valid
- detailed CV
- detailed motivation letter including information about the intended stay
- booked flight tickets
- proof of accommodation for at least the first 3 months (rental contract, hotel reservation, or invitation letter in case of private accommodation with name, full address and passport/resident card copy of the inviting person)
- certificate of good conduct not older than 3 months
- Mandatory declaration for participants in a Working Holiday stay
- visa fee: 75,- EUR payable either in cash in Lei or by card (Visa or Master Card)
Please note that the Embassy reserves the right to ask for additional documents at any time during processing.
Submission of the above mentioned documents does not guarantee that a visa is granted.
